Can someone please explain what the pack size upgrades actually do. i just researched pack size 3 and noticed that nothing changed on my containers.

what is the up grade for?

Your inventory is larger.
Technically your inventory is bottomless, however the packsize upgrades will give you more space before you become encumbured and slow down

Oh so this upgrade has nothing to do with container storage, well thats a bit misleading i think. It's more aimed at the tool belt?

The toolbelt/player inventory, yes. It's intended as "pack" as in your back"pack" in the "packsize"
