Yes, both ends must be powered

do not use HVC or steppers only powered floors to power them though

have you ever tested if the bug also buggs railrunner and not only the depot itself? never tested this

You could test it, can't currently, but I do know that the monorail itself won't get powered and you need power to use railrunner so logic dictates I suppose lol
