- Modifies the built in night vision system by customising the filter applied.
- Contains both build in filters, and a personal filter that can be customised
- Customised filters persist across games and restarts
- All customisation and filter change can be done in game, even while flying
- Uses Config manager for settings, press [F1] to view options
- Fully client side, entirely multiplayer compatible.```
# Now BROKEN on NOMM!!
# DOWNLOAD MANUALLY
-# Config manager is built into bepinex, so don't worry about not having it

86 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
VERY BEAUTIFUL
also thanks to impulsenor for helping me fix bugs n stuff
As a fellow modder: send your mod to both forum next time
i just got the modder role in main server like 6 hours ago

So cool thank you! It'll be fun to play around with the custom filters
blue
inb4 the actual crazy person in this discord makes a yellow filter
Simpson filter
is this local
god this feels like cheating only thing that would make it more so is removing the grain
i could not find way to remove it, but then again i like having it
I installed it via NOMM, but it does not show up in the plugin list
nvm installed manually and it works
will look into it
im installed, but dont understand how to open this menu
hit F1
click on nvg config
you should have the configuration manager mod preinstalled but if not go download that
(it comes with bepinex)
just put it in your plugins folder
THX
however it's kinda too expensive to get this stuff on something except EOTS of select spy vehicles and observation posts, but will change soon (tm)
Nice. We are already here.
Of course but it's changing rapidly. Even smartphone cameras nowadays can capture what you can't normally see with bit of exposure in night mode. Military camera will surely be on whole other level. Wouldn't be surprised if even regular soldiers will get integrated full color night vision by then.
don't see the config anywhere? installed and enabled via nomm, v1.2.2
Nomm version doesn't appear in f1 menu. Github version works normally. They also have different file names if that matters
^ just noticed same issue, NOMM not showing up in F1 menu
Not sure I can ever play a night mission without full colour NV again
yeah i saw that one 'night' pic from the QoL mod with the chicanes on the carrier and i HAD to figure out how they did it
looks like "night" in good movies where it's more like 'night themed' than actually properly dark
PFFFT
i set it to 'full color' and load up a mission at midnight...it loads
"huh, its daytime? i thought i set it to night..."
wait a min...presses N IT IS NIGHT!!! XD
lights are still super bloomy/bright, but otherwise looks nice
that's the whole point of night vision
yes of course, im mostly just wondering how that pic was captured
lighting and post processing
this was likely taken during overcast
overcast, huh? ill check that out, i just really like the aesthetic
and yeah i figured some editing was done, the rotor looks like its spinning in the wrong direction, and the base of the rotors dont have blur, and the tail rotor isnt moving at all XD
Look at the surface of the sea - strong color banding visible, this def had postprocess/was edited in post
yeah :L
oh well, either way, the mod is nice 🙂
now im not choosing between "cant tell where the ground is" and "cant tell where the ground is, now in green!"
Simulated wagon wheel effect
Looking at it, the file installed by NOMM is also much smaller, only 21 bytes...
hey guys the nomm version is broken rn
i dont know why lmao
it pulls the wrong dll
somehow
also sorry for not responding n stuff
apparently i do not get notifs
if issue ping me
@rapid sleet you may be interested:
this is adjustable w the custom thing. I added the saturation to make it "more realistic"/ more stylistic
THIS MOD IS MAYBE FIXED ON NOMM
-# also i dont know how to fix it lmao
saturation doesnt seem to affect it, just changes how 'vibrant' the color in general is, not the bloom on light sources
I installed manually, and I have a fairly new version of bepinex, but pressing f1 (in mission) doesn't do anything. Did something change?
the filename and the url in the manifest doesnt match the real file name
so ofc it doesnt work
ill fix it in a bit
should be fixed in a bit, publishing pipeline is running just now
notice the error in the file name etc
(don't change stuff in releases after you published them, just make new releases for your fixes)
(and delete the old one or make it non-public if necessary)
ty <3
you need configuration manager
mod
you can get it on nomm or download it online
THIS MOD WORKS ON NOMM NOW
FYI if you add this to your mod manifest:
NOMM will automatically download config manager if it isn't already installed :3
I'm gonna do it for u just now
