Infiltrate the Sarcophagus megastructure and fight your way to the top. High intensity raid mission designed for organized parties of 4-6 players. Contains difficult mechanics that require a high degree of coordination.

this mission took me like, 25-30 hours to finish based on my steam hours? definitely felt like it 😭

I'm still unsure how much i want to give away because figuring out mechanics on day one raids is always fun

#

But as a general concept for the mission, 1 or 2 players will be inside the sarcophagus interacting with objects and fighting enemies

#

The facility will self destruct normally so little machines are deployed around the outside to suppress the automatic self destruct trigger

#

players on the outside will have to defend the machines from incoming enemy forces while a smaller group works on the inside

#

and the group inside will have to relay information to the group outside so they know where to strike

#

so both groups need to be actively communicating for basically the entire mission to ensure the facility doesnt blow up

it looks like a lot of fun to fly around the inside of the structure

its not quite big enough to fly faster stuff around inside unless its something super maneuverable like a revoker

#

you can definitely do it but its incredibly hard to actually do the mechanics without an aircraft that can hover

you have fairly low money so you mostly only get what comes in the faction reserves

but you start rank 6

yeah, the reserves would be a pretty obvious balancing lever

then the team can just pick their comp

do you intend for it to require people to be on voice or does the pacing of things allow for text coms, you think?

reserves are pretty generous for cheap stuff but i have it lowered enough to discourage suicides

theres no way to detect if a player dies at the moment so best i can do for anti-suicide is give limited reserves on nice stuff

its generally balanced around 6 but you can technically do it with 4

Incredible idea. Id love a flight sim set in an Armored Core ish setting where megastructures are everywhere and create "terrain" above your head even at cruising speed

this one just took a long time because i had to program a really large amount of objectives

the sarcophagus is only around 1km x 1km and 5km tall

#

feels very large if you fly a heli in it

#

a little too small for anything faster than a cricket though
