Features

  • Player controllable ships, including the OTB-31 Landing Craft, Shard Class Corvette, Dynamo Class Destroyer, and Hyperion Class Fleet Carrier.
  • Base-building and FOB creation system usable by Landing Craft players, as well as the deployment of vehicles and aircraft from ships that support them.
    • Custom bindings are availible at the bottom of the controls menu. When spawning a landing craft, a new Cargo Options button will appear. This will also appear for any units capable of unit deployment. Use the bindings to select and deploy units and the FOB. When deploying a FOB, an interface will appear. Use WASD to move camera like normal, place units with left click, remove with right click. Place an airbase center if you want the FOB to act as an airbase for players or AI. Airbase vehicle depot can spawn vehicles added by kramenka armored reinforcements
  • Large selection of both vanilla and custom weapons and missiles to mount on ships, including a variety of guns, lasers, and really explosive things.
  • Fully immersive seafaring experience with realistic water physics, damage control, and flooding mechanics.

Do not underestimate a shard with S3s on the VLS.

It is immune to Missiles due to the 5-6 missiles per second it belches out.

Dynamo and Hyperion did not receive S3s, instead opting for Scythes for similar fire-rate, but at the expense of higher operating cost.

While I cannot say this with 100% confidence, I do believe that the ground units we have in the game are significantly worse than the aircraft from a real-life technological perspective.

  • They lack any sort of data link other than the Hexhound.
  • They have access to absolutely garbage missiles.
  • Their guns, while competitive, have very poor reaction times.
  • They have no countermeasures to speak of.
  • Despite existing in an environment which presumably has seen drone warfare and suffers from spam in the form of laser guided rockets and cruise missiles, none of the ground vehicles have any sort of APS system. (The spearhead 20kW is a joke only good vs G2G missiles which are artificially nerfed against it, specifically)

Based on the power of our air force, every single convoy would naturally have a SAM unit capable of belching out ARH constantly, which would be networked to some kind of tiny drone that gives it optical data link capacity. And next to it, there would be a laser + gun-based anti-munitions unit.

Basically every single convoy would present as much of a threat to you as an aircraft, as an Ifrit full of Scythes and Scimitars would.

Sadly, the AI has no idea how to drive them.
It treats them like aircraft.
They taxi to the runway, hit full speed, and just go into a straight line until they reach the edge of the map because they think they never got to take off.

Some feedback about mods!

This was very interesting experience.
I saw in mod a lot of good ideas for every ground unit loadouts. You really tried give every ground unit own role what is very good.
Playing in coop feels extremely fun and atmospheric, especially if you have one guy in sky for close air support. Of course some weapon looks too powerful (180agm truck, you are crazy). Very like ability installation laser defense and active defense systems. I also think you able implement some extra truck with ALM, and tusko B.

then we could command them just as a ground unit
i was thinking about adding a custom state which reroutes controls from AI decision making to a user, with some exceptions like when it is in state of landing and etc
tho it is suggesting we could mimic AI autopiloting since we've taken away its brain
i've tried to find anything useful for the ground units but its just general notes about decompiled stuff
