Indeed the script that controls the lights is removed when the building is destroyed, so it stops updating when the building is repaired...
It's rather minor, but we can look into it.
would be cool to have certain buildings lights at day, maybe as an option 
I'm also looking into adding blinking lights, but with a shader / material rather than a script, for building obstruction lights for example.
