the extreme 3d pro has 2 Axis missing, yaw and Throttle to be speific, I have read other HOTAS having issue on Linux too.
I have, as of now, found a workaround " sudo evsieve --input /dev/input/by-id/usb-Logitech_Logitech_Extreme_3D-event-joystick --map abs:throttle abs:z --output name='Logi Remapped' " makes a virtual controller that actually HAS the 2 missing Axis, im not sure what exactly causes the issue. but seems to happen somewhat frequetly

Also happens with the yaw axis on the Thrustmaster T16000M. I think the throttle works on that one ? But I don't use it so don't quote me on that
same command
change names
I actually got if from a forum for X4
nvm
ProtonDB
Pretty sure its possible to further improve the mapping in evsieve
so the axis are all correct by default
Yeah sorry I didn't say it, I know about the command and have used it, even tough I play mainly on Windows because opentrack is misbehaving with my camera
ouch
