PALA has constructed a massive gigawatt laser array designed for beam-boosting small satellites into orbit as well as blinding our own satellites. Annoyingly, it also excellent at air defense, and our own munitions can't touch it. It's only weakness is that, on top of the desert climate, it produces a huge amount of heat. The only way to get inside it's minimum engagement range? The massive cooling pipe connected to a nearby resevoir which sends water to the storage tanks. Fly through it, if you can, and tear that array to shreds so our ballistic missiles can vaporize the rest of the facility. You are the only one crazy enough to sign up for this mission, good luck.

Really fun mission! But that 100tusko test is not fair. You are launching so close that the Tusko's are still very slow when they are being engaged. Launching from 15km distance seems optimal (darkreach going 880km/h). Then 60 lasers cannot stop 75 Tusko's. About 6 can make it through. If you launch further away the air drag has slowed the missiles down again so then they can be stopped as well. Bascially you want the rocket motor to be done kinda exactly when the missile is going to be engaged by AA.
So this setup of 41 lasers could get hit if you use about 50 Tusko's.

Here I thought I didn't destroy enough lasers....

I think some piledrivers exploded in the upper atmosphere because I destroyed their targets during launch?
