#Multiple words in the game missions and descriptions are spelt wrong

I have noticed there seem to be many words (accidentally, I hope) spelt either with fewer, or altogether wrong, letters.
I have attached a few photos - there are still more to be found if one looks even remotely hard - of the worst offences.
I realise this may be common practice in uneducated, uncivilised countries, but I expected slightly better from the Aussies. Ruins an almost-perfect game. Please fix ASAP.

well, good sir or lady, Mitch is using the American English spelling for those words I don't think he is going to change the spelling into "proper" English.

Big supporter of "u", though I will never get used to spelling manoeuvrability.

also some words ARE spelt correctly, it's not even exclusively yankish or english

#

I just don't get it

#

it's like they went out of their way to spell words the american way but slipped up in some places

dark mantle
#

this is what we like to call, a "grammar nasi"

frozen moon
#

Yeah, someone forget that there is other countries that exist
and that noone really cares how do you write the same word if its either way is correct

I cannot lie this post is sort of just a really convoluted way of asking for localisation

wicked sluice
#

ok but deadass why are some words spelt the american way and some the british way

dark mantle
#

because both are understandable and correct

wicked sluice
#

yeah but no one writes in both

#

like you either write in one or the other

#

like I write in say canadian english

#

I don't randomly spell words different

dark mantle
#

are you like

#

an english teacher or something

wicked sluice
#

you have to put in thought

wicked sluice
#

I'm just curious

#

like americans don't just randomly spell words with u's sometimes

#

for example I don't alternate between armour and armor

#

to spell armour 'armor' I would have to physically think

dark mantle
#

i commonly say humor

#

i'm sorry but people who don't talk like a dictionary exist

wicked sluice
#

really actually

#

how does that work

#

like you randomly drop the u sometimes
