#BOATS DONT FIRE MISSILES ON EACH OTHER is this a bug?

never mind the shard does it but the dynomo not... why does the dynomo not do that?
man i find my own voic annoying
it could be that i played to much sea power but in my mind a modern war ship sould have ship to ship missiles
the dynamo has a fire control system that launches AShM-300s in large volleys that engage many targets at once, which can take up to 16 minutes to plan and fire the entire VLS (at default skill level)
ships are not intended to be so close to each other, usually
tl;dr not a bug
Does also minimum range is accounted ?
got me wondering because i never saw it firing on close by targets
but it fires on ships to then?
and i now about the minimum range they still seem to be on target. but still explode
but tbh the ships need more love espacelly when it comes to coordinating
yes
ship optical systems should be capable of spotting each other within 15km, but dynamos will also engage targets on datalink that have a valid track
so you can set two dynamos to hold position, each across the map, place two enemy crickets to spot them, and they will eventually fire on each other
you can edit the .json of the mission file and set their skill to >1000 to make them fire about every 30 seconds
okay
i just love watching naval battels in this game becouse their goofy. thx for the info
The dynamo has its railgun which will shred an enemy fleet from like 35 km away. Even the carriers only survive the railgun for 5-10 minutes
Try the Carrier Duel mode, that'll prove that Dynamos can use their AShMs
