Common missiles used today like AIM-9M, AIM-120C, R-27, R-77, MICA, etc have g-force limits in the 30-50g range, and maybe some of bleeding edge designs like the AIM-9X being able to pull 60g. A slight improvement would be expected by 2070, maybe missiles in the 50-70g range. However, just messing around in the editor, some of these missiles are easily exceeding 100g. Either that, or something about the display is wrong.
#Missiles pulling utterly insane g-forces

I don’t think this is a bug ngl
Besides a missile nerf is not what nuclear option needs right now, like at all
not bug. missiles advanced
not bug, cocaine thrust vectoring
Acceleration of 100G ≠ manoeuvrability of 100G
Also, I would not trust the display entirely
Not bug, meth missile thrust vectoring
exactly, its altitude reading is seemingly constantly fcked imo
but yes acceleration of 100+Gs doesnt mean its maneuvering with such
agreed missiles imo are already vastly underperforming from what they should be
IR missiles are only scary at below 10 flares, above that theyre virtually harmless
ARH missiles are so easily jammed and notched theyre only really scary when its a late detected scimitar at full speed OR when a vortex launches one from 1 mile away
SARH missiles like the boltstrike is unironically more dangerous than ARH ones imo
yeah IR missiles are so worthless
they're comedically easy even on jets
let alone firing them against a helicopter
especially this, i understand the chicane needs high survivability to be fun and relevant, but missiles are the textbook counter to helicopters, it’s why optical missiles are the go to instead of a proper A2A, going guns with a chicane is often imo more suicidal than charging a pair of shards
yeah the chicane has an ir signature roughly equivalent to a lukewarm ice cube lol
most normal missiles with the exception of cruise missiles do not have radar altitude calculated and they are instead always set to 1000 radar alt for performance
(doing radar altitude raycasts for every single missile would be absurdly laggy for essentially zero benefit)
