While also being balanced and have weaknesses like slower turn rates and not be as agile as say the other jets in the game
#general message
Mods really just need to add the "no swing wings" to the suggestion rules.
obligatory It has been Zero Days post
But, what about forward swept swing wing.
/j
They should add an F-14 or tornado type plane but with fixed wings just out of spite
At least the tornado can look fine with fixed wings.
IT HAS BEEN Z E R O DAYS
Exactly. As much as I'd love to see one, it doesn't fit the era or aesthetic the games going for at the current moment, devs can still absolutely Shock us with one and I'll eat my words, but I doubt.
have you, by any chance, heard of the F-14
I mean
That's exactly whats been asked on paper.
4th Gen, Naval swing wing jet, strong air to ground and air to air capabilities
repost from another:
Variable sweep wings did not have many advantages over newer and more advanced swept wings like on the F-16 and F/A-18, the whole reason the F-14 and F-111 had it was because they were limited by mid cold war tech or the navy needed a supersonic jet that did not stall often
the only use variable sweep wings have in a current age is to be a on the B-1B since supersonic bombers are too large and niche to have a good swept wing design
