Right now, the only way to tell that a unit is out of ammo is to switch map modes and inspect it. It would be nice if for example a ship that is out of ammo could make a request for a naval supply crate. This would make it easier for players flying the tarantula or other future logistics vehicles to know where supplies are needed without having to manually inspect potential destinations.

I think that this would be especially helpful considering the upcoming logistics helicopter.

Some simple icons to show "low on supplies", "out of supplies" could be nice too

Also a way to supply multiple ships with a single container/without unloading. Because supplying shards isn't really worth it when the same container provides much more value to a dynamo
Maybe hovering next to a shard for 5-10 seconds would use up 25% of a container directly from the cargo bay to resupply it

Dropping smaller packages would be nice. Basically one could equal to 1/2 or 1/4 of a full container. Could use parachutes too.

I would love more, smaller containers for ships specifically

What if (like Squad) we could load up with "supplies" similar to how we already do with fuel, which we could then distribute wherever we want.
This would only be available to aircraft with an actual supply capacity, with the max-amount being determined by their physical capacity, and the physical load being up to the player to handle
