This would mean a supply chain would have to be used to bring vehicles and aircraft from factories to depots/airfields. This would provide additional opportunity to prevent vehicle deployment without destroying the depot (which could maybe then be made capturable) if the depot is too well defended. It would also give a use to HLT-Tractors as they'd be the vehicles used to deliver equipment.

In mission this would likely not affect production speed of vehicles as a supply line would already be set up and going. Aircraft would be able to disrupt this supply line easier than destroying a factory to reduce difficulty for friendly vehicles to get to their destination.

For mission editors this would let them customize what percentage of specific vehicles produced go to which depot (or plane to which airfield) and choose which roads would be used for logi networks.

This would also liven up the game as a whole by increasing immersion and provide reasons to use convoy striking aircraft throughout the game instead of just the start.

this'ld also be interesting for aircraft carriers and dynamos, their airframes can only rly be replenished by flying them over from shore

I never even considered that but yea any aircraft not relanded would need to be resupplied

Oh yes this isn't even mentioning the potential for airdropped mines
