with the vtol and vtol carrier coming bdf finally has a counterpart to the revoker and the hypereon so i think that this tiltjet strike plane would serve as the bdf's version of the ifrit.
It would be mach capable with 2 engines on each wing (note this is a tiltjet so the wings dont rotate just the jets do)
This would also fit in with bdf because we know that theyre more advanced and this is ofcourse a vtol.
It would be able to carry up to a gpo auger in its bomb bays and the external pylons could carry air to air missiles. it would also have a powerful 27mm autocannon similar to the ifrit being capable of taking down tanks and sam emplacements with ease.

the best part about this plane concept IMO is the laser turret and the VLS cells for missiles. very cool. the variable geometry though is a bit wacky. I like the vtol a lot though.

I think it was created more as a competitor to the revoler when we see its performances but not ifrit

You do have some merit with the tiltjets though, if you ditch the 4 jets and go for what Bell was conjuring up here, where it switches from rotors that fold back in flight for jet operation.

In that future most likely the BDF will be getting a multirole and interceptor platform, the ifrit won't be a concern by that time, you can take an ifrit out with a compass, remember.
