I only saw this being brought up once on the server and with me knowing very little about how ... well games work under the hood I of course don't know if it's possible, but if it is, is there going to be any kind of attempt to make that a thing? or is it just plane impossible.

I personally would be against auto download because there are skins I don't want to see in-game.
However having an opt-in toggle wouldn't be bad I guess

AAA battery has made a whole collection of all the skins on Steam. All you need to do is subscribe to it. Them being on the platform is enough to guarantee their sfw status.
