A simple uniform table of:

  • intended target type
  • approximate range (could be 3 numbers for low, mid and high altitude release)
  • flight trajectory description (freefall bomb, glide bomb, top attack close-in, terrain following / terrain avoiding) - could include a picture
  • guidance specifics and info (BVR, line-of-sight only, datalink guided, on-radar homing, needs active radar on launching platform)

exactly. I'm no veteran but given that the ingame weapons are quite close to real weapons they are inspired by, I know more or less what to expect but to master the game it would be, even for me, better to have the data when selecting the loadout as I do play the way that I actually mostly select loadout for a pre-planned attack run, not for general shoot'em'up flights. And there were some new updates to the weapons lately and possibly more will come. Also adding any new weapon automatically makes every veteran a newcommer to the specific weapon system and those are things that will inevitably come in development.
