I am not sure if I am doing something wrong in the editor but I have found that ground units like to get stuck in a giant ball when controlled by the AI team. This is a picture of the BDF ground forces after they captured the desert highway strip, any new units just stop here as well, thoughts?

ground units will navigate to the nearest active objective either when they spawn or when the one they're currently going to is stopped or completed - it looks like they have a marker on the highway strip but a required target is not destroyed yet? or a it's a reach waypoint objective (which only player aircraft can complete, despite all units using them to navigate)

when using a destroy units objective the vehicles will drive to the midpoint of all current destroy targets

so they can sometimes get stuck like this if that midpoint is out of sight of the remaining targets

This was 100% the issue. I didn't realize that the objectives in vanilla escalation were tied to units, which obviously messed up the objectives when they were removed.
