I'm the one opening that thread: https://steamcommunity.com/app/2168680/discussions/0/4035853814708176684/

Pasting it here for convenience:

I am playing with Proton and the game is reported as working flawlessly on Protondb so I do not think the compatibility layer is an issue, but the UI is mostly unresponsive and I believe this is due to the fact that my screen is a portrait screen natively, which is the case for many small devices and handhelds.

Using -screen-height 1920 -screen-width 1080 helps, but does not solve everything and I often find myself stuck in the UI with no buttons being clickable. The gamepad controls do not allow manipulating all UI menus and buttons, so this does not solve the issue either.

I'm not entirely sure that the native portrait screen is the issue, since I combine multiple factors here: Linux (using Proton), native portrait screen, Wayland, tiling window manager, scaling. But I think this is either it, or a fullscreen issue. I'll be happy to do more testing if need be, I understand that my report is lacking details and reproducibility information there.

Still having issues: see the video I added.

I can't explain why it worked for some time, not sure how to reproduce either working or not working behaviour, even with or without launch options.

Not sure if this is because of oton, my portrait screen, or my tiling WM.
