My Winwing Orion 2 F-16 joystick has a flip trigger which is a combined axis and button- i.e. when the axis is at any value above zero, it also a (virtual) button. In mot games, I can explicitly select whether I want to bind it as an axis or button. I can even bind the axis and button to separate controls. In Nuclear Option, I don't have an option to force the game to bind the axis versus the button, and the game always binds the button instead of the axis.

If by "fix" you mean disable, one or the other and then mess up binds for your other games... 😦

This is also an issue for stuff like the landing gear lever on my virpil panel- although since we don't have gear down/gear up binds that's moot anyway
