I bound throttle increase and decrease to left and right trigger. So when I hold down left trigger to increase throttle it slowly increases the throttle, but the second I let go it resets to 50%, same for decreasing, the second I let go of the trigger it resets it to 50%. If I turn off "use throttle axis negative region" and press and let go of either right or left trigger it resets the throttle to 0%.
I did not have this issue on the playtest.
#Controller throttle axis does not work correctly

I have the same issue with an xbox one controller, it is behaving as if the trigger is an axis even though the binding suggests it'll be treated as a button.
I’m having the same issue with a sidestick, but with yaw too
Same thing. It defaults to 50% if neither trigger is pressed
Notably after some testing this bug doesn't occur if the bumpers are used. Some kind of issue with output from the triggers
Can confirm that the triggers are considered axes rather than buttons. I'd recommend using the default binding of bumpers instead
Thanks, I've done so in the short term, but my muscle memory is all tied to the triggers as throttle. I'm sure it'll get picked up in a hotfix soon enough 🙂
I just can't get used to it and I still crash occassionally while taking off because of it
I need a yoke
You can try using a piece of software called "Xinput plus" to force the xinput functionality of windows to split the axes in the meantime, I've had a play but not much success
with the way I use the Throttle that might damage the bumpers.
I think I'll keep it as default since the rudders are super sensitive anyway
Definitely would prefer to be able to use the triggers properly for throttle, bumpers feels weird to me lol
