While in a match, if I go into the controls settings menu and try opening the keybind submenu all my UI disappears. Pressing ESC does nothing. Only thing that seems to do anything in this state is tapping M will toggle my flight HUD (not the map screen, but the normal HUD).
Had to Alt F4 to get around this, as it totally blocked any useful UI or key presses to get me unstuck from that state.

Yup now that I've rebooted the game and tried to reproduce the issue, it works just fine. Seems to be random.

I'm seeing the same issue. I opened the controls menu several times successfully in the free flight mission, but it reliably crashes for me in the tutorial missions. I'm not seeing any log entries when this happens. I'm running NO on Linux with the default Proton version.

I also had this happen the first time I opened the key bind menu while in first person flight. I had to task manager end task to close the window. However, now the game is loading on my second (left) monitor and it took me a while to figure out to change to windowed mode, then alt tab out of the game to move the window back, then uncheck windowed mode.
Also why is there no resolution setting?

All my friends and myself have this issue. I have also experienced it on the main menu. This seems to be a very common bug.
