you need to mine 3 pieces of clay using a pickaxe and take them into backpack. clay mound is right underneath radio tower in the walkthru cave/tunnel. once you have 3 pieces of clay in backpack pull out journal, select the containers tab (that looks somewhat like a cup) and click on cup in the page that you select what to make. cup will be made and placed into your backpack. you can leave cup out in rain to fill up or scoop water from a water collector, and add one of the teabags found on various islands or add lemongrass or coffee berry, cooking it until the circular bar fills up so it's ready. most of the teas help to keep you warm for a long time. coffee gives you stamina.
