When I ate the snail or the scorpion in the demo, I got food poisoning. I won't have any problems with it now. At the moment I think this is fair given that animals don't respawn. Although it would be a better solution if you had to roast it on the campfire first or cook it in soup. On the other hand, it is surely a mistake that eating spoiled meat for a week did not cause any illness and even added to the protein indicator.

It seems that I was just very lucky in the previous run. Currently, I got food poisoning from spiders several times. I have found that if I drink water from the water filter when I have food poisoning, my health starts to drop rapidly. On one occasion, I needed 9 bandages to stay alive, but if I drink coconut water, the disease goes away almost immediately. Is this intentional or is this also a bug?
