Does elemental atk stats in weapon affect damage against players?

Nobody knows for sure since the damage formula not revealed.
But based on what we know currently:

Yes, elemental attack gives boost to spells of the same element .only the bonus damage multipler against dark not applied (since player is neutral)

Players aren't neutral element, they are player element. There is one weapon that increases player elemental damage, the PVP weapon in the asterite shop.
