After playing the Tides of Foscari adventure and processing my experience with it, beside it's really cool that it did a cool job at introducing the characters, I feel like the adventure itself lacks an ending.
Like, it begins by introducing the villain of the dlc, a witch that helps the heroes going after the villain, and then introduce the 3 heroes of the dlc, one at a time, while having them facing the Foscari creatures together.
And that's when the adventure literally ends, because the other objectives are more like achievements than anything else (with one of them being simply goofy).
Comparing to the Mount Moonspell adventure, I think that Mount Moonspell adventure was actually better, because it begins with the Miang Moonspell failing to defeat Orochimario, and begining her journey, finding other members of Moonspell clans and Allies, to have a second round against the Dragon. The adventure progression is simply better.
Tides of Foscari feels like it stops at the middle. Maybe it's intentional so one plays the map and finish the story, or maybe not. But it really feels like the adventure is incomplete.
