#Spawn tile on wrong layer?

On the second stage in the adventure garlic paradise enemies and projectiles that spawn seem to disappear when above the player. They’re still there however as you can see the damage numbers appear above the player, so I assume it’s a layering issue of some kind. This only happens on the spawn tile from what I’ve seen though.

Is that update releasing in the future? I’m on v1.12.104 and the apple App Store shows that as the newest version.
