~~Semi-serious idea I literally just thought of on a whim: Weighted Mode, a toggleable feature avaliable from the very start of the game that introduces a rarity system to weapons, passives, and Arcanas, making some more likely to appear than others during level ups/Arcana selection. Weaker weapons, such as Fire Wand or Bracelet, would be the most common, whereas stuff like Shadow Servant or Scan would now be much, much less likely to appear due to their game-breaking power. Passives would also be under this rarity system, though most would be unchanged, the only real rare one being Empty Tome for obvious reasons. As for Arcanas, all the normal ones are fine as-is since they depend on your build, but there would be an obvious exception: Darkanas would be much, much rarer to get in the random selection. This system would allow the game to somewhat preserve a sense of balance despite the power creep that's been going on; is a new weapon too powerful? No problem, just put it in the rarest tier! Is a weapon too weak? Give it the boon of being easy to get so it can be easily built around!

(Also, yes, that chance of getting better items would be effected by Luck)~~ Ignore this, turns out this is just plain already a mechanic lol.
