also modding isn't a solution for everyone, I would like a more accessible solution.
I'd at least like to know what makes this a bad idea for those leaving a thumbs down
So it would give each character Topper's mechanic of starting with a candybox, in lieu of their ordinary weapon?
It's... interesting, but I think it discourages unlocking new characters. Could be a checkbox mode like Inverse and Hurry... maybe with an additional difficulty change to accompany it (Extra bosses in each boss wave? Periodic player defanging in 5 off-55 on-second intervals? I dunno).
