Aesthetics of Ophion

This is subjective and many players may disagree with me, but I do not like the look of the projectiles generated by Ophion (the evolution of Shadow Servant ). I am referring to the spinning ring and bubbles. To be frank, I think they look ugly and out of the place. The pseudo 3D look clashes with the rest of the game's art style.

I hope that this is a weapon that the VS devs and artists can perhaps revisit in the future, if they think it's necessary. I would appreciate that.

That certainly helps with the cohesion. I just personally don't like the look.

Somewhat off-topic, but do you like the art for the arcana cards?

I see. I like most of the arcana art, but certain ones like Twilight Requiem (the book) and Sarabande of Healing (pixelly rings) look like compressed jpegs to me (in an unintentional and unattractive way).

Might just be how you perceive it then, I can't say I see them differently from any other arcana.

It's not a priority, but I hope it becomes easier for us to mod custom art and sprites, somewhere in the future. Apparently it was simple to do before they changed the engine.

I heard a long time ago that the dev wanted to add workshop support, but since the game has grown so much and the engine has changed, it might no longer be as feasible. Or perhaps it will be revisited at a later date, once new content starts to slow down.

(Since right now, there is only a small team working on the game and making sure every bit of new content works on every platform is already a lot of work)

Yes, I definitely understand that. They don't have a gigantic team and they don't have millions of dollars lying around, so they have to prioritise their development. I might just have to try to learn how to mod, LMAO.
