Did not crash, but after the second time i launched it, It throws this null error on some checksum check in a rendering file? Then just stays on the black loading screen with the animated player at the bottom right. Never loads. Using a 2080ti on driver version 528.02. Have tried driver one generation back. tried uninstall/reinstall. tried beta mode. dlc / no dlc. no file/save cloud syncing.

Very overspecd machine, tried different drives with different filesystems. fat32/ntfs etc.

I just want to play the game lol. Have done just about everything short of digging into the specific node error lol.

If you know of a similar bug pls respond i want to pwn the dark demons and unsurvive the vampire pls.

I dont know why there would be a checksum in rendering code unless its checking graphics settings file for validity/tampering? and why would you evn bother, but also i see savetype.computedcomputed in there. I do not care about keeping my save since i only played the game once. If wiping that works im open to doing that.

Sorry you're experiencing issues launching the game. If you're getting a black screen stuck on the loading screen with the character moving at the bottom right corner the best option would be to recover a previous save. for anyone else with this bug, delete the contents of the game folder at
<STEAM_INSTALL_DIRECTORY>\userdata<YOUR_STEAM_USER_ID>\1794680\ save is gone but it remakes the file after that
