I have the following issue on Xbox. The achievement says I need to defeat 100k enemies in a single run. It seems to me this actually means „in a single life“. I could not do until now in runs where I died once and revived. Eg I had 48k kills when I died and revived after 55mins. I continued playing and stopped after 125mins which theoretically should be more than enough. But it is impossible for me to really check because the kill counter stops upon the first death.
So what are the actual requirements for this achievement? Is it allowed to die and revive? If so how do I check if I had enough kills?

Answering my own question: when I did not die and did it in the library stage instead of the new one I got the achievement.
