If the app is closed or restarted, the current game is reset and the only option is to start a new game through the main menu.
This happens sometimes if the game is paused and I switch to another app. After switching back to Vampire Survivors, the app restarts.
Is it possible to implement a Continue functionality which saves the game temporarily and if the app is restarted you‘ll be asked during start of the app „Continue with last game?“

This issue is pretty much the only one I have run into in iOS. I seldom have 30 minutes in row to dedicate to a mobile game.

Yes, I agree — I would play this game much more if it would be possible to continue later instead of loosing all progress
