#White Screen On Launch

Current PC State:
Windows 10 Update 21H2
Nvidia Update 526.47
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8700K CPU @ 3.70GHz
ASUS ROG STRIX 3080 GPU
32gb 3600mhz DDR4
1 x 256gb M.2
1 x 1tb M.2

Description of Bug:
When launching the game it loads as normal then cuts to a white screen on games loading completion. This has been happening since the games 1.0 Release.

The game seems to be stuck in this state not actually throwing a crash error. The game does not close via the close window box but instead requires the task manager to be closed. The task manager does not detect the game to be frozen or stopped.

Things Tried to Fix it:

  1. Tried things stated in the "i cant open VS" thread the image is now locked behind the old bug posting chat which failed.
  2. I have moved the location of the games files from my D drive to the C drive as described in the post guidelines which failed.
  3. All launch options in steam result in the same white screen bug.
  4. Verified game files
  5. Deleted and blocked steam cloud saving after backing up my saves.
  6. Uninstalling the game and reinstalling.
  7. Launched in Admin Mode via executable.

Sorry you're not able to launch the game. Please could you DM me your log files and Build ID?

Log files can be found here: %AppData%\Roaming\Vampire_Survivors\logs\renderer.log
Build ID can be found by right clicking Vampire Survivors, selecting Properties and going to the Updates section.

Build id is 10163332. And installation directory is already moved to C disk

Same issue here as well. Though It only mentions Armor2 Skull2 and undefined.

Sorry you're experiencing a white screen launching issue. Please could you try disabling/removing your external sound card if you have one to see if this fixes the issue? After starting the game you can turn it on.

I tried again today and it suddenly works normal now.

Yes, it seems that it need to change the sound output, I tried and it worked
