Custom Bot - Update Activity Names and Details

Hi Jonah, TempVoice team,

How do I ensure the channel will get updated everytime the user has new activity in 5mins? since its the rate limit correct?

What's the difference between ACTIVITY_DETAILS, STATE?

Also, is there a feature or way that there's a default Voice Channel state in the Generator? like Unlocked, Locked?

or its not yet implemented?

1. Aslong the name includes {ACTIVITY_NAME} it will update every 5 minutes (that limit exists cause Discord doesnt allow a channel to be renamed for then 2 times per 10 minutes)

2. Depending on the activity what information will be displayed. You might just have to test it ^^

so we decided to get TempVoice instead as primary

note this will only apply to users who havent created a channel yet with the selected creator channel

If they created a channel before the channel was public. Now the channel is still public when they create a new channel even if you changed the setting, because the status "public" was stored in the database before

But if you would setup a new creator and set it to locked, then all channels will be locked at the beginning cause there was no individual channel data in the database before

Not really cache but because there is already data in the db of the channel

but shouldn't the original creator channels gets updated as well? when the user enables this feature there? without creating a new one

All configurations of a users temp channel is getting stored for the next time they create a new channel.

It would be difficult to update all existing configurations of those temporary channels because I cannot check if the user might want to have their channel open

I might have a solution in mind

Forget what I said before its now fixed.

When you change the default privacy to locked, then all temporary channel will be locked when they re create their channel
