I want @everyone to be able to join a temp channel but I was a specific role to be able to click on the creator channel. I have set the permission to Sync from Creator in the dashboard and I have set the CONNECT permission of the creator channel to ❌ and the CONNECT permission at the Category to ✅ - but the generated temp channel has ❌ on the permission for everyone. What am I missing here?

try changing your sync permissions on the dashboard

If you have a member role don't replace it with @ everyone
