While the status can be useful in some situations, it more often than not completely table flips the flow of combat & makes it nearly impossible to properly play around parrying, messing up enemy attack timings.
Therefore, I believe the status should be reworked completely. Here are some ideas:

Hacked enemies take more damage from other statuses OR makes other statuses more effective ( Rotted enemies attacking less often, Burning enemies freaking out and panicking, etc. )

Hack will have a small chance to make the enemies deal damage to themselves instead of you ( for the purposes of parrying and such, the hit from the enemy would still count as 'damage' being dealt, but not diminish HP/Armor )

Hack makes enemies attack each other for a short period ( this might make it more disruptive, but plays into the whole 'hacked' concept, as in the enemy being literally brain hacked )
