Had this error message pop up when launching the game ( only happened recently, as of the May update ). Unfortunately, cannot attach the crash dump as it could not be found ( \AppData\Local\Breaker\Saved\Crashes - this file path doesn't seem to exist? ). Also deleted any and all mods I had installed, just in case that was the problem but had this same error pop up.

That location might be a hidden folder (the AppData folder is marked hidden I believe)
If you type "C:\Users\YOURWINDOWSUSERNAMEHERE\AppData\Local\Breaker\Saved" into a windows explorer window, does it pop up?
Also do you have windows installed to your C: drive?
We haven't seen this crash before, so I'd love to get the crash dump if you're able, but this also might be a steam patching issue, and you might be able to resolve it by using the steam "verify integrity of game files" function - right click the game in your lbirary, go to installed files, and smash this button. This will force steam to check all the files to make sure it downloaded and patched correctly - sometimes steam will hiccup and goof a file.
You can show hidden files in windows explorer by checking this box in the View tab
huh yea, it was hidden - can see it now just fine, weird
will re-install and try and get that crash dump sorted
the verify integrity will effectively reinstall for you, but doesn't need to redownload everything
it checks the hash of each file to make sure whats on your computer matches what is in the steam depot and will update any files that are incorrect
if verifying fixes it, I don't believe we'll need the crash dump
Sorry this is happening to you, let me know if you still have issues after verifying!
No worries, bugs can happen for any number of reasons - also you won`t believe this but re-installing the game seemingly fixed the issue lol
awesome!
same here, just happened when I installed the update today. it says 4.27.2.0
running W11 i7-8700K RX 6700 XT installed on a SSD PC up to date as are drivers
verify the integrity now
"1 file failed to validare and will now be reacquired" let's try again then!
seems to be working so far
