D2R is up to date and I downloaded the Reimagined mod v2.1.2 on nexus. (5 stats/1 skill) Followed the instructions to manually install it. The mod does work since I have the cube, the big inventory and stashes up until I click on a shrine.
Not using any other mods.
Edit : Resolved. Turns out it wasn't the mod at all. Had to reboot after installing the game.

Hold up ... I launched an un modded normal game and it crashes aswell when I click on a shrine rofl
so it might not even be a mod related problem

I just did and it still crashes, that's weird
it never crashed when I played it on release

I believe the problem is that I'm an idiot. When I installed the game, I think I missed the "keep the game updated" checkbox and was basically running a very early version. I didn't pay attention to the version before uninstalling it but it was .6900 something. I'm redownloading the game so I'll try again later.
If that's not the problem then I'm clueless.
But from what I've seen on some websites, it should have been the correct version ... so I guess the files got corrupted the first time, somehow.

Just an update, game is still crashing once I click on any shrine, using a mod or not. Can't find any solution to this so I guess no D2R for me. :/

wild shot but update graphics drivers? assuming the scan of d2r game files through the bnet launcher doesnt find any problems too

The drivers were already up to date, it's mandatory to play PoE 2 which I did earlier today. I did the verify thing multiple times and it doesn't find anything. It's definitely not my computer either since it can run PoE 2 to almost ultra at 144 fps without a single crash in 100+ hours. I do have a 4080 rtx and D2R apparently doesn't like Nvidia gpu's from what I've read. I absolutely have no clues on why it's crashing like that. Thanks anyway to try helping me, considering it's not even mod related. 😄
And it's always crashing as soon as I click on a shrine, which is very odd.
