#Some built in apps don't get tiled automatically
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
Hi there,
Welcome to Komorebi 🙂
If an app runs with admin privileges like the Registry Editor or the Task Manager while Komorebi does not, then they cannot be tiled.
If you open the Terminal without admin privileges, then it should tile just fine.
Not all the apps behave nicely and therefore are ignored by default. In short, some apps are just not built in a way to work well. The app_specific_configuration_path setting in your komorebi.json file refers to all the special rules that were added by the community to ensure a smooth experience for all the newcomers.
There are some ways to "force" some apps to get managed, but usually there is a good reason as to why they are not. Since you are new here, I will not bore you with the details 🙂
So I need to run komorebi as admin then?
