I had the mirroring bug as well. Additionally, certain pages were stuck on the screen.
What seems to have happened is that I had turned onto a blank page first and closed the journal. Later, an event (Luna's kidnapping) added fresh pages to the journal, but when I opened it, the page was transparent at first, as it was awaiting the reveal animation for the new page that would be added, and I had to go back to the previous page for the new one to be revealed. This seems to have bugged the new pages, causing them to stick to the screen as I leafed through the journal.
