Sigh...
Context: Playing D2R ReMODDED on the most recent version/patch.
So I read all of the documentation before playing this mod to make sure I had enough knowledge to understand how to play. Of course while doing this, I noticed the warning not to store anything in the Horadric Cube as the game does not track the inventory in there in the event of a crash. I've been very careful not to leave anything in the cube during normal play that I wouldn't care about losing. Unfortunately a code red scenario happened while I was playing. I had my Quality of Life Bag in the cube while adding some Unique Cores and Runes to the bag when my computer crashed due to an overheating issue (my liquid water pump intermittently stops working randomly, I'm buying a new one ASAP).
I lost my entire Quality of Life bag and all of its contents. I am so sad as I have been adding everything I've found to that bag while playing. Is there any way at all to edit back in a Quality of Life bag with similar resources in it? I don't intend to cheat as I like to play the mod legit and experience it the way it is.
I've since discovered the D2R Backup Buddy and I'm now using that, but I've been on the hunt for any kind of Item or Hero Editor that will allow me to add back to either a new bag or edit the values stored in an empty bag. Am I screwed or is there some way to edit my Item data? I'm a software engineer by trade so I'm not shy to any technical tools that I may have to use. I've considered even using Cheat Engine as a binary/assembler editor to find where a Quality of Life bag is being stored in memory and manually editing it's stored values but I'm not super experienced with Cheat engine.
Any help at all would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much in advance.
