Hello, seems like update doesn't work. I mean it is working but nothing is changing. I also tried to overwrite my current mod by redowloading it but I'm still on old version on the game which is 0.9.9.9.ba

Maybe you can try to click on Download New Mod then select your desired mod and copy the link below into your browser, that should download the mod then you can unzip it and place it into your d2rlan mod folder. That worked for me for basic TCP mod.

I removed mod but still it can't find newer version. even in launcher is old one, launcher version is 2.6.7

Current d2r launch version is 2.6.7, so you’re on the no TCPIP branch, most updated patch is 0.9.9.9BA for that branch, only the tcpip client is updated to E
