#Can't seem to see other player marker in-game + oddity with vpn

Love the Mod, litteraly what brought my brother and I back to d2 in probably a decade, but thankfully the few bugs we have had we have been able to correct, that being said the newest one we can't seem to figure out is why he cannot join my vpn game, but I can join his, and when I do join his he does not see my marker on his mini-map. Any help/suggestions would be welcomed, thank you. (oh and using Radmin VPN)
