The flashing red link in the 1.3.4 D2RLAN launcher is unresponsive, so I went into the files and ran the updater in the updaterU folder and it began an update process, with a green text "update in progress" message, but it doesn't appear to actually be updating. an hour later and not only is it not finished, the progress bar hasn't yet begun to move. Any ideas on how I can update the launcher to 1.3.7 to play the new update?

If anyone else comes to this post with a similar problem, my issue was with my desktop being saved to onedrive. I had to change my desktop path and exclude onedrive, then reinstall D2RLAN on the new desktop path in order for the updater to function correctly.
