Something is wrong with your auto-backup setting. Either the dropdown option isn't on a valid selection somehow...or your save file location was moved, etc

theres no option anywhere, to change the location of saved files, and after checking, it seems like the launcher thinks the game saves are in different folder, but in fact its in my main d2r save folder

Well without more info; I cant help much. You havnt even said what mod you're trying to play or anything. Your save files are determined by the mod, not the launcher.

Im playing remodded, and now, after a clean installation, if i launch the game, the save folder is correct for remodded, but as soon as i turn on "Use -direct -txt" the save folder for the mod goes back to the base d2r game
