please show me the error details?
Please replace your launcher files with these, all the traffic from Llama's videos caused some issues:

Ahh, thank you
Just to clarify for others having the same issue. In order to preserve any save files and whatnot, just drag and drop the core files from the website into the launcher installation location and overwrite, correct? Thanks ahead of time
Can just remove the folder or w/e. If you have folder named "D2RLaunch" on your desktop as example, then just delete it and drag new "D2RLaunch" folder to Desktop
Awesome, ty
nvm i totally unistalled and reinstalled and think i got it now
Just downloaded D2R Launch today, and ReMoDDeD. Kept getting the 'Unhandled exception' so I replaced my file with the one you linked here. I am still having the same problem.
Check your antivirus quarantine to see if it restricting file or for duplicate process hiding in the background (can happen with failed updates and such) that might also be using it
Thanks for the reply, but I can not find either problem. Also, running D2R Launch as Administrator makes no difference. D2R is installed in the same E Drive.
Well I know it sounds insulting, but to help rule things out; I'd give the computer a restart and try it again afterwards. Also make sure you are using the latest launcher files. There were some link issues caused by all the traffic from llama's videos: https://d2rmodding.com/d2rlaunch
I am not insulted, I just wish I could have said that I had already tried a pc restart. However, now I am seeing this...
progress? lol try re-downloading the mod also. If you still get a crash afterwards, then the last culprit is usually your save files. Some item on character or shared stash that is now "corrupt". Click download new mod, then select remodded
A save file from the vanilla version?
well if you have one in there, then yes that would cause it to crash. In Launcher can go to My Files > Save Files to access save folder
Redownloaded the mod, and then it needed updating again. Restarted pc again. Ran Launch as administrator. D2 tries to load, but crashes again to the same previous error. This is all I see in the Save Files folder.
Same deal with me.
anyone have this issue?
same currently
the other way works without respec unless -respec works with -mod remodded
so i basically just fixed this by not manually installing the mod files before running the launcher. just install the mod through the launcher UI not super intuitive and isn't really explained anywhere that you can't manually install the launcher based version of the mod. in the game now and the mod is working.
i did only install the mod through the launcher UI and it doesnt work
same error
yeah im playing with the shortcut and -mod remodded version but cant respec unfortunately
still getting this from launcher, but playing with -mod shortcut
i think you user starting the mod needs to have higher privileges
