my main interest is in the vault so I of course clicked on the vault tab from the main screen and was greeted with this:
Message: 'The' is an unexpected token. Expecting white space. Line 5, position 33.

Clicking on the my files tab then the save files tab gives me an unhandled exception error. Now my d2rmm ods do locate the save files to the

Ok so I click under community and wiki and get no wiki found

#

i have quite a few d2rmm mods but none dal with stash

#

things like light pillar and modified drops

robust sleet
#

which one are you selecting in the vault?

hardy elbow
#

i dont get into the vault immediately after clicking on the vault button i get the error i listed

#

actually i think i lied i do have some mods that CHANGE the stash size

robust sleet
hardy elbow
#

maybe thats the issue

#

ok

#

ok so now i have what you were talking about for mod choice and save folder

#

all i really want is the vault to run with my current setup

#

not sure if thats realistic

#

i have like 14-16 mods already some of which your app does as well

#

or i should say can do like drop rate changes

robust sleet
#

Well you still havn't said name of mod or w/e you trying to use. Did you try re-selecting the mod you want to use?

hardy elbow
#

i want to use ALL 14 mods

#

ok let me get the names

#

arcane ghosts stay on path, stacked runes, stacked gems , decard cain move, increase droprate, bosses drop sundering charms, expanded stash, epanded 10x10 cube

#

there are more do you want me to list them all out]

robust sleet
#

I dont need all the names....it puts all the mods in one folder, so select that folder

hardy elbow
#

ok hang on

#

so select the d2rmm.mpq file

#

or the data folder

#

ok you said folder so i will assume the data folder then

#

ok give me a min it was looking in the wrong place

#

save files are stiored under users not with prorgram data

#

ok missing files error says it will generate them for me

#

ok

#

and i dont know who djsch is but that is not a user on my system

robust sleet
#

is d2r/bnet launcher open?

hardy elbow
#

let me double check

#

no

#

i play 100% offine except for the required monthly check which i just did thats why iwasnt sure if maybe i had left it open

robust sleet
#

THen ya that error comes from it not being able to read an item correctly. Might be something from it reading D2RMM changes correctly or not all the correct files being loaded or w/e

hardy elbow
#

so how do i figure out what item

#

and on what character

#

and would it be someting in a personal stash or shared stash or could be either

#

Had issues with another program reading items from my char as well

#

but the character works fine in game so am confused

#

not sure if this helps but i moved the character i thought was the issue out of the save directory and now getting a different error

#

#

maybe not different looked to be less lines

#

well its midnight here and doesnt look like there is a quick fix for this i will play with emptying my shared stash of all items and see if i can get it to work

#

thanks for your help

robust sleet
#

Ya that error just means it cant read the item correctly. Either because of Vault error or because you don't have all the .bin files and such in your mod folder for it to read

hardy elbow
#

ok I think I now have it to a spot where you can help me. I created a new blank shared stash and now the vault loads, however, as I said I have mods that increase stash size and all and your vault mod is still using what I assume is the original sizes so things overlap and many things just dont display at all

#

getting closer though as i am able to see some and worn items appear to be displaying properly

#

stash tabs in my game seem to be 16x13 on character storage is 13x8

#

and if it matters cube is 10x10

#

changing characters is not working either seems stuck on whatever character I originally pick to load

hardy elbow
#

i will just leave this up in background just hit me up with whatever you suggest... basically if we get get the stash, inventory and cube sizes set to my custom sizes I will be able to see if everything else works for my setup

hardy elbow
#

OK even more issues on my end running the app and simply clicking myfiles/savefiles give me an exception error

#

forgive the huge post but here is the details

#

also rechecked and reloaded all my vault settings hoping it would properly size the vault to maych the d2rmm mods and no luck there either

#

BTW just in case i seem to be coming off all negative... quite the opposite if I didnt think your work was needed and a solid replacement for most of my mods I wouldnt even bother trying to get it fixed.... so definitely keep up the great work and hopefully I can be a positive part of helping you to improve it

robust sleet
#

Sorry; not going to spend anytime troubleshooting this issue. We don't support D2RMM already for a few reasons.
I can tell you that Vault doesn't care how big your storage sizes are; it has nothing to do with issue. You don't have the .bin files setup or such for your D2RMM moshpit of mods.

hardy elbow
#

ok well i even tried to setuo your app with just retail settings aka didnt pick the d2rmm folder at all

#

still had issues

#

even with default retail settings and a character i created WITHOUT any mods loaded

robust sleet
#

because you didnt use the .bin files man

hardy elbow
#

are you talking about the 40 gig extract process?

#

as i dont think the ods have any bin files

#

let me take a step back

#

lets say i have just a generic stock install with no mods at all

robust sleet
#

They probably don't. You'd have to generate them yourself in order for Vault to have files to read

hardy elbow
#

i use the retail option in setup

#

which i did

#

and the setup files still causes that error

#

and yes the saved files i was pointing to were characters generated through the unmodded game

#

so i am still missing something

robust sleet
#

Watch my video guide on creating bins and such....there's nothing else for me to say. It doesn't matter what you select if none of them have bins.
Mod authors like myself, BTDiablo, etc do all this already; D2RMM/Retail does not have this setup for you; they don't care about it.

hardy elbow
#

ok fair enough do you have a handy link to one of your videos
