It loops endlessly. I tried clicking everywhere. Pressing Escape also loops. A task manager force shutdown of the game and restarting it did solve it

I had the same problem, after completing one of the MegaQuest quests. I kept trying to claim it, and kept getting the error followed by it repeating. I was forced to exit the game to break out of it. I don't know if I actually earned the quest reward or not (hopefully I did, but it's too late to really know).

I have it happen all the time. I open the game and then tab out do something else and the reward window either pops up while I'm on another screen/app or just sits idle too long. Just need to refresh/reload and it clears it up. It's inconvenient, but I don't think it's ever happened where it wasn't at least indirectly my fault. And I've always gotten the reward. Rewards are added before the popup even happens.
