I've been thinking about the roadmap teasing at the addition of the Custom Campaign/Story creator (which i assume will include all the cutscene stuff used like background changes, sound effects, music selection and cut off, narration boxes, actual levels we get to make ourselves including the map editor support and maybe even custom CGs for the endings, etc) but then I thought about something...
...A good majority of units don't have Story Faces! Without those, so many units won't be able to be used for stories, leaving us with those who already appear in campaign and event cutscenes, which would be rather limiting wouldn't it? Allowing for user created content for characters who... already have story content.
So, my suggestion for the CCC when it comes out, is adding story assets for every unit, even the NPCs or those only playable in Fools modes. This would include the characters who haven't appeared in story cutscenes yet, NPCs and Mooks like the Bounty Hunt enemies, invaders and the Travelling Black Market Salesman, the bosses, Aurora, Guardian, Pirates, et cetera. It would be great to have the entire unit roster, even those who don't have dialogue, at our fingertips, allowing us to make stories with anyone and everyone! (of course this would also mean allowing us to put them into the playable stages as well, although in most cases, thats already sorted due to Fools event and Wanderers campaign)
Fan made Season 2 for Season 2 using Harbinger and Lost Rogue as the main villains, stories focusing on Lone Rider, Merchant and the like, letting Haruo and Robo-Ball express themselves like Seagull did in Beach Party, making the Swim Coach lot sound like a Boston Mafia gang! Star Devourer redemption arc! Bounty Hunt monsters having a jamboree! Store Manager punishing dine n dashers!
The possibilities would be endless for us if every unit was given story assets with this addition! It would by far, rejuvenate single player with the endless story potential!
